"As sick as I felt, I felt important"

Recently I was a patient on Medical 3 or AUU I think it was called. I have been admitted a number of times to different wards and this was by far the best.

I was treated with so much care and dignity.

The nurses I met were so happy, the managers I came across were visibly supporting their staff and helping them, one lady took time out of her day to even talk to us even though we could see she was very busy. I spoke to a couple of staff and said they were so lucky to have 2 managers who showed them respect, this was evident in their work, they wanted to be there and not just to be paid.

The staff I met were so calm even when they were we could see they were very busy.

As sick as I felt, I felt important.

I hear so much negative and felt compelled to let you know my positive experience.
