"Angliss Hospital Mum's in training pregnancy exercise classes"

About: Angliss Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

Recently given birth to my second child and have attended weekly Mum's in training exercise classes throughout both pregnancies.  I loved these classes and think the program should be expanded and better promoted.

It was fantastic being able to attend regular, affordable, pregnancy safe exercise classes locally.  The maternity physios running the classes were always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.  Exercises were readily adaptable to suit our levels of fitness and any pregnancy related issues we were having.  It was also fantastic to discuss any physical symptoms we were having such as pelvic girdle pain and carpel tunnel and get advice, physical aids such as tubigrip and referral to the maternity physio's if needed.

Finally I very much enjoyed the social aspects of these classes and made friends with several other mums locally who I still catch up with regularly.

Dear MIT participate 2017

Congratulations on becoming a parent for the second time! As a parent myself, bringing children into the world is a wonderful gift that brings joy to our lives more than we could ever have hoped for (this has been my experience anyway!!).

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback - it is very clear you found great value in the classes, and even better made new and lasting connections!

It will give me great pleasure to share your feedback to the team who provide the 'Mum's in training' exercise classes and the impact they have had with you! The Eastern Health value of 'kindness' was clearly shining through!

I hope all is going well at home, you've managed to get some sleep and enjoying every minute with your family.

Many thanks and kind regards

David
