"Physio and OT"

About: Armadale Hospital / Canning Medical Ward

(as a relative),

My father was recently admitted to Armadale Hospital, and spent a few days on the Canning Ward at the hospital for a number of health concerns.

I want to give a shout out to the OT (Liz) and Physio (Courtney) for the exceptional care they gave to my father. Not only were they kind and reassuring, they went above and beyond to make sure his home was well set up, he had the equipment (frame and shower seat) to ensure that he was safe and comfortable once discharged, and made sure he understood everything that was going on. They also made sure that he didn't need any other services in place at home, or to be seen by anyone else such as the social worker.

Couldn't be happier about the respect and genuine care my dad was shown, and appreciate the time and effort they put in (when they were obviously so busy). I hope these ladies are recognised for their efforts.

Dear HappyRoRo,

Thank you for getting in touch and for providing such wonderful feedback about the care your father received during his time at Armadale Hospital and following his discharge home.

The patient experience throughout their journey of care is extremely important to us and I am so pleased to hear that our staff have gone above and beyond in ensuring your father is now safe and comfortable at home.

I have passed on your praise and thanks to Liz, Courtney and their respective managers to ensure their efforts are recognised across the organisation.

Thank you again for writing to us and best wishes to you and your father.

Yours sincerely

Diane Barr
