I was being treated for a head injury and being told I had to take multiple medications which I have never been diagnosed for. Given medication which I did not give my prior consent to. I felt bullied and also felt people on the ward tried to make a fool of me. In my opinion, they thought I should be treated for my 'mental state'. I have never been diagnosed for this because I have never shown any symptoms of this and I have the experience of what these are as part of my own professional studies. I believe my being treated for mental health issues was an idea from my husband casting his burdens onto me instead of sorting himself out in terms of his own health. I felt mistreated and misunderstood by the ward staff.
