(as the patient),

I unfortunately needed to attend Maroondah hospital emergency department yesterday. I just wanted to thank the outstanding nurses and doctor who looked after me. Nurse Helen was working on a very busy triage desk and she treated every patient, including me with not only respect but genuine warmth and kindness.

I then had Cathy and a doctor take care of me in the ED and both were kind and efficient and couldn't do enough to help me. Amazing people working under often challenging circumstances.

I'm very grateful you do what you do. Thank you very sincerely for making my bad day as comfortable as possible.

It is always so pleasing to receive positive feedback and it really is terrific for our frontline staff also to know just how much their hard work and dedication means to our patients and their families.
