(as the patient),

Recently I went to the Ipswich Hospital for a check-up and some tests for the heart. I had a lot of tests done which lasted all day, x-rays, blood tests, ECG, etc. I was treated with kindness and outstanding care.

I was sent to the Emergency Department where I was looked after by the doctor, who was very efficient and showed professionalism.

I also spent some time in the short stay unit where I also was treated like a human being and well looked after.

Lots of thanks to the doctors, nurses and all staff for your excellent service and making my day more comfortable.

As far as I'm concerned, I can't complain. My spouse and I are very satisfied with the service at the Ipswich hospital. Thanks to all.

We were sorry to hear that you have been unwell but glad to hear that you were happy with the care we provided to you. We hope that you are feeling better.

This winter/flu season has been a very busy one for our Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit, so we are really proud that our staff has continued to provide “kind and outstanding care”. They really are a great team who do an amazing job under difficult circumstances.

It is very important to us that all of our patients and loved ones are treated with dignity and respect at all times. Being in the emergency room can be a frightening experience so we do try and make sure that we never lose sight of the “human” factor. I am glad that you felt that we treated you with professionalism and kindness.
