"Fracture Clinic"

I am appalled at how the Fracture Clinic is run. This is not about the staff as they are awesome, this complaint is about the system and how that needs change! Firstly, after surgery in hospital for my child's broken wrist - we were asked to follow up at the Outpatients Fracture Clinic. When you call this Clinic, very rarely is the phone even answered, so this makes it next to impossible to book an appointment! After finally booking an appointment - when we turned up for our 3. 30 appointment we were not seen until 6pm!  There were about 30 people in the waiting room in the same situation. I fail to understand what the point is in even making an appointment when clearly it is just an arbitrary time. Making people wait that long, in pain with no clear indication of when they will actually be seen is outrageous. This system has to change and could be managed much better. I cannot understand how anyone thinks this is an efficient nor fair way to operate.
