"My wife's experience in ER"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a carer),

My wife and I were at the opera house when my wife became unwell. A nurse looked after my wife at the first aid area at the Opera House, then we were cared for by paramedics. We were then sent to Sydney Eye Hospital ER as it was just up the road. The first second we arrived my wife was cared for with the highest regard by all doctors and nurses we saw, especially Dr M and associates, who went through a very vigorous testing process to find the problem of the illness. As my wife has to take so many medications, as she has a few ailments for a young woman, it can be very daunting for any doctor caring for a patient with so many problems, and on so many meds, to find the time and patience to find the exact diagnosis. Dr M, you were so kind, thoughtful and very talented as I watched you care for my wife and be so careful when you took fluids. I would like to thank you all very much.

Dear appreciative husband,

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your feedback on Patient Opinion. The staff who work in the Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital Emergency Department do an outstanding job and we receive terrific feedback about how they are consistently thoughtful & show our patients kindness throughout their care. I will ensure your feedback is provided to the team there and am sure they will appreciate reading your comments.

I trust your wife is recovering well and wish you and your wife the best of health.

Kind regards

Carolyn
